ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

This supernatural comedy was the last film that John DeCuir Sr. designed. This film marked the symbolic passing of the torch from father to son as DeCuir served as Production Designer and DeCuir Jr. joined him as Art Director. 


SUMMARY

Ghostbusters follows the endeavors of three scientists on the trail of supernatural activity in New York City. After being kicked out of their department at Columbia University when their grant runs out, they start a “professional paranormal investigation and elimination service.” But when they stumble upon a portal to another dimension that threatens to destroy earth, their ghost-busting business becomes a world-saving business.
