Andrew Sanders started his film career in 1971 as a production designer. In 1981, Sanders received his first official credit as an art director for Chariots of Fire (1981). For the next 20 years, Sanders continued to work as an art director, including on films such as The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and Possession (1981).
