Peter McKinstry is a concept artist and illustrator who began his concept work on the video game Doctor Who: Attack of the Graske (2005). The next year, in 2006, he worked on his first concept art for TV in season II of Doctor Who (2006), a role he continued in until season V in 2010. McKinstry has won the Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Award three times for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2012), Game of Thrones (2015), and Game of Thrones (2016).
