Robert Peterson was an American art director and production designer under contract at Columbia Pictures (first 1940-1947, then 1948-1964) and specialized in gritty black & white drama, especially crime films and film noir in the 1950s. He was the production designer (art director) credited on And Baby Makes Three (1949). He received one Oscar nomination.
